1. The header beam
The header beam consists of a galvanised or painted steel construction fixed to the door opening of the building.
It contains the door drive and lifting device.
2. Side frames
Anodized aluminium extrusions with integrated guidance for the horizontal trusses. Brush seals mounted on the side frames
seals efficiently against the door panels.
3. Safety precautions
The door is equipped with double polyester belts attached to the bottom truss. A slack belt contact breaker controls the belts.
A centrifugal safety brake is mounted on the belt drum, and in addition to this, the door has double limit switches and
an electronic load limiting device.
4. The door panels
The door panels consist of double PVC-coated polyester fabric with
a weight of 700 g/m2. These panels provide good insulation and are
operationally safe from -30° C up to +70° C. The Nomalift makes it
possible to supply the door fabric in sections so that each part being
easily replaceable. The door fabric is available in blue, white, grey, green or red. The
door panels can also be made with Your logo, or with windows.
5. Horizontal trusses
Framework with two anodized aluminium profiles coupled to steel tube
diagonals. The horizontal trusses are designed to withstand heavy wind loads.
6. Lifting devices
The lifting device consists of a centrally positioned drive unit mounted
in the header beam. The belts are rolled on to a drum. Nomalift system
of break-rollers lifts the horizontal trusses. On higher door openings every other truss is lifted.
7. Drive unit
A hollow shaft worm gear with an incorporated break motor, drives the
lifting devices belt drum. Limit switches for open and closed door
position
is coupled directly to the gear box shaft. 1-speed, up to 0.2 m/s,
400/230 V,
50 HZ, 3-phase, 1.5 - 3.0 kW.
8. Control system
Supplied as standard with a relay-based control box. The control box
contains a transformer, motor contactors, overload circuit breakers, etc. The door is as
standard "hold to run" operated, but can as option be equipped with impulse control. A patented touchless
safety edge, STS, is provided with this choice of system.
9. Dimensions
Grand Door Type B is available in dimensions that meet customer’s own
specifications.
