Rapid Roll 660
Rapid Roll 320
The 600 Series is the best seller because
it takes the harshest, heaviest conditions in stride.
Nomadrive was built for it and this heavy
combination thrives on high traffic, demanding climatic conditions and wind loads, providing lasting solutions to industrial doorway dilemmas. It is constructed from the highest quality components throughout, making it virtually indestructible.

1. Door Roll
Steel tube with welded end caps.
The shafts and wire drums are bolted into the end caps, and the shafts borne in brackets at either end. The door panel is riveted to the drum, and the drum
unit is sealed against the wall.
2. Door Panel
Extremely rigid, tear-resistant woven polyester monofilament, in two seamless layers giving a thickness of approximately 2,5 mm. Tensile strength: 175 kN/m.
The fabric is coloured and coated to produce a barrier that is iimpervious to air and liquids. Standard colour: orange.
Other colours or clear PVC available on request.

3. Balancing Mechanism
Patent system, comprising steel wires, wire drums, pulleys and springs or weights, balancing the door panel throughout its upwards and downwards movements.
When the door is closed the door blade is stretched out.
4. Frame Sections
Anodized aluminium sections on either side of the door panel guide the upward and downward movements. The frame section also houses the guides for the wind bars.
The frames can be opened for inspection or maintenance.

5. Fascia
Anodized aluminium section along the front of the drum.

6. Bottom Beam
Anodized aluminium section. Can be straightened out in the event of damage.

7. Safety Edge
In weatherproof, oil-resistant rubber to provide an effective seal against the ground or floor. On impact with any object, the door immediately reverses to the open position.
8. Drive Unit
3-phase induction motor and hollow shaft worm gear for direct installation on the roll shaft. The drive unit is flexibly attached to the doorframe by a torque arm. An optical encoder measures the position and direction of the door panel. The slipping clutch and dynamic brake functions are obtained electronically.

9. Control System
The microprocessor-based self-controlled system consists of a logical unit and the motor control, housed in the control box. The opening speed can be set up to 2.5 m/s.
Thanks to smooth start/stop functions, the door can be run at an extremely high speed without overloading the transmission, thus extending the doors life time.
